This week I started my remote marketing apprenticeship at Telo.
Since it was only my first week, it started a little slow, with a few learning curves on both ends as we figure out this whole “remote” thing.
My week started out with listening in on a sales meeting, where I “met” the team and took notes on a few things for myself. The next couple of days I spent simply learning about a few of the programs the team uses.
Afterward, I studied various sales decks, infographics, and whitepapers to familiarize myself with the product. As I went through them, I noticed a few typos. I didn’t really need too many hours to read through the material, but I knew it would take a while to internalize it. Therefore, in an attempt to brush up on my marketing skills and still provide value to the company I had just started working for, I compiled a list of all the typos I found. There weren’t very many, I only found about five or six out of the twelve documents I had.
I’m looking forward to week two, and I can’t wait to see what else I get to learn and do.
