Sometimes it’s hard to do something. Sometimes you “just don’t wanna.”
I feel you. I’ve been there. I’ve been there quite a lot, actually.
Sometimes it’s okay to listen to the “just don’t wanna” voice. Maybe it’s telling you it’s tired, and you need a break. Unless you have a deadline that needs to be met or a commitment that you can’t slack on, it’s okay to take a day or even two in order to clear your head and take a break.
Sometimes you really just need to ignore that voice. That voice is just trying to make you procrastinate to the point of failing. The only break you should take is perhaps a walk or going to grab yourself a snack before you get started.
I really didn’t want to write this post. I’ve been blogging for 42 days now and I’m tired. However, I made a commitment to go through the end of February, and that’s what I’m going to do. After this month I will have my break.
Until then, I have to keep ignoring the voice insisting it “just doesn’t wanna” and push through.
