This is the week I said goodbye to Telo.
I’ve been working with Telo as a part-time remote contractor for eleven weeks, and the time has come to chase new opportunities. Of course, I learned a lot from the role.
First of all, Puerto Rico was beautiful. Yes, Dorian came by, but we barely got hit. There were strong winds in the morning and about fifteen minutes of rain. There was more troubling weather the next
I crammed a ton of learning into my last week at Telo, and it was exciting to be in the office.
What I Learned/Did
- I learned how to use Zendesk.
- I learned a lot about the telecom industry. CNAM routing and telecom
in general is extremely complicated. Honestly, I shocked myself at how much I learned in such a short amount of time. I’m way better at learning things than school told me I was. - I sat in on a few sales meetings, two sales calls, and took notes for the calls.
- I learned how to update CNAM values in Telo’s database
- I learned how to close accounts
- I wrote up a ton of notes about CNAM, support, telecom, and anything relevant to the industry and role
- I worked through some more tricky support tickets
- I learned how to work with people when working remotely.
- I kicked ass when it came to editing the documents my team was putting together.
- I learned how to find leads and
their information. - I learned how to organize information and documents.
I learned a lot from my time at Telo. I’m looking to the future and I’m excited to take my new skills and experience to my next opportunity!
