Waking up is easy for some people, but for the night owls like myself, it’s often the most frustrating time of day.
There are ways to make it less frustrating, let me give you three tips to start your day off productively:
Make your bed
It’s simple, it’s productive, it automatically makes your room look cleaner and like you have your life together. I make my bed every morning for all these reasons, and I highly reccommend it.
Don’t use your phone
It’s a habit to wake up, roll over, and scroll through social media before getting out of bed. I’m guilty of it, everyone is. There have been a few times when I have forced myself to not get on it until after I’m ready for the day, and I’m shocked and how much more focused I feel.
Have a routine
There are hundreds of “My Morning Routine” videos on YouTube for a reason. Having a routine is a good way to get your brain ready for the day, and also ensures you don’t forget anything. It also helps you feel like you’ve accomplished something. I suggest keeping it as short as possible so you can get on with your day.
These are my three tips for having a productive start to your day. Making your bed, not using your phone, and having a routine all make a big difference in how your day will start.
